Katrina Cowie to Lead the 2025 Crieff Highland Games!
We’re thrilled to announce that beloved local nurse Katrina Cowie has been appointed Chieftain of the 2025 Crieff Highland Games, taking place on Sunday 17th August at Market Park.
Katrina is a familiar and much-respected face across Crieff, having recently celebrated an incredible 50 years in nursing, with over four decades caring for our community. As Senior Practice Nurse at Crieff Medical Centre, she’s been a source of kindness and reassurance to generations of local families.
Chairman Norman O’Neill said:
"There won’t be many people in Crieff who haven’t sought Katrina’s help or advice at some point. It’s a privilege to recognise her contribution to Crieff and Strathearn."
Katrina will help promote the Games in the lead-up, judge the Tartan Up the Town competition, and on the day will lead the pipe band parade, open the Games, and take the Chieftain’s Salute during the spectacular Massed Pipe Bands finale.
We can’t wait to welcome everyone to what promises to be a truly special day!
